Already Middle Park has had two top of the league clashes this season against sides that were on top of the ladder.
In round eight they beat Sandringham 2-1 at home when Sandy were on top of the ladder and undefeated and had only had one goal put in against them in the previous seven games.
On that day, Middle Park played Sandy off the Park with such intensity and passion Sandy did not know what had hit them. The score could have easily been 5-1 with out including a missed penalty.
In round 11 Middle Park played top of the table Seaford SC at home. Seaford played with a lot of aggression and passion and came to put there stamp on the game but once again, it was not enough to put Middle Park off there game.
Middle park won the game 5-3 and showed once again there will to win at all costs.
Although down on two occasions, Middle Park’s fitness levels and intensity once again was clear to see and THEY came away clear winners.
We now come to A WEEK ON Saturday’s game against Sandy who is once again on top of the ladder.
Because this game is so crucial to Middle Park’s promotional hopes, it is hoped as many past players, 3rd & 4th team and the masters players, partners and even parents and friends from our junior teams will all come along and support both the first’s and the seconds in there fight for promotion this season.
Two wins v Sandy and Middle Park will blow the top three positions wide open.
In what is going to be two cracking games YOUR support is vital in helping the lads get the results we need.
If there is one game, you can make it to this season THIS IS THE ONE.
YOUR SUPPORT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
It is still a grand old team to play for and SUPPORT.
