Knox 0 – 0 Middle Park
The Parkers put in a strong performance to come away with a credible point away at Knox.

A strong, resolute, defensive performance could have delivered all three points, but a good chance late on went begging.

This result followed an identical 0-0 score line from the reserve team fixture.

Clearly each club had been so impressed with the opposition’s goal threat, that a 4-6 formation was employed on either side.

This was bad news for all the fans who had turned up to view an afternoon of goals, and who paid $5 for the courtesy. Loyal supporters were rumoured to be rioting in the bingo halls of Knox on Saturday.

For the Parkers, after two horrific defeats and an impressive win in round three, this result will further boosted morale.
