Deja vu seen MP3rds return to the grounds of Old Scotch for our second round of the league.
On a miserable rainy day Dicko brought us on a warm up, which lead us to such a confident start.There was nothing between the two sides in the first half and not many chances created as both teams went hard at it.
Smart rotation by assistant coach Mark Keane, seen the introduction of our tough Queenslander Dave Houghton to mix it up, only to receive the quickest yellow card for an outlandish tackle. Spirt was kept high by the MP4’s team singing and cheering us on.
Second half the game opened up on both sides,great play from middle park lead to a goal by our french winger Willie, only to be disallowed. Old Scotch had there chances but were kept at bay by our multi talented player/coach/goalkeeper Ben Coosksey.
There was an outstanding performance by our back line and a great debut from our new striker Soal. In a relentless game that ended with a draw seen both teams battle until the bitter end.
