Middle Park 2 – 0 Old Brighton Grammarians

Really good game, high tempo with plenty of commitment from both sides.

Lively crowd ensured a good atmosphere but a bizarre interpretation of the game by referee Old Father Time, spoiled the first half. Allowed the game itself to be the focal point in the second. Maybe 5 yellows in total without any real bad challenges.

OBG were a threat on the break in the first half- their pace & movement up front causing problems. MPFC had the better chances throughout and deserved the win after going up the gears in the second half.
